Dear Berkeley Mt. Zion Family and Friends, I hope all is well with you and your families. As many of us look back at the last 15 months, it has certainly been a journey! The COVID-19 pandemic, racial and social unrest, the Presidential election, the insurrection at our nation’s Capitol, all events in which the world has never witnessed to this magnitude. Yet, through it all God has kept us. After all we have been through we still have joy! The Lord has been faithful, and He is still sitting on the throne! Most of us know that June 15th marked the full reopening of California. Despite the full reopening of California, at this time we will continue to worship virtually online. We remain committed to a planned and safe return. As I am led by the Lord and conditions are constantly improving, we anticipate regathering in our sanctuary in the Fall. Please check for updates and pertinent information via our website, and as we continue to gather online. I thank God for a faithful and committed Reopening Committee who have been hard at work planning for our safe return to worship and ministry, when we return to church.
