Berkeley Mt. Zion Family,

As we have navigated through this pandemic for the last few years, your health, wellness and safety has been our number one priority.  We have learned recently that there was exposure to the COVID-19 virus at the church.  As a result we are committed to taking the necessary steps to ensure your safety and that of your family. To this end, we are taking the following steps:

  1. We will temporarily suspend in-person worship. There will be no in-person worship on May 22nd (this Sunday) and next Sunday, May 29.  We will conduct our  Sunday morning services online via Facebook Live and Zoom.
  2. Deep cleaning of our TOTAL facility.
  3. We request that you self-monitor your health for the next 14 days and if symptoms develop, self-isolate, and please NOTIFY THE CHURCH. Additionally, notify anyone you have come in contact with regarding your condition and recommend that they self-isolate, self-monitor for any symptoms and follow CDC protocol.
  4. For individuals that have been fully vaccinated and you are not experiencing any symptoms, you do not have to quarantine but please wear tight fitting mask when you are around others and take a PCR COVID-19 test.
  5. Out of an abundance of caution we recommend anyone who attended our in-person church service on May 15th (last Sunday) to take a PCR COVID-19 test.

Below is a link that will provide a list of facilities where COVID-19 tests are being administered:

If you need any support, guidance, or information please do not hesitate to contact the church office.  As always I solicit your prayers as we navigate through these uncertain times, and know that God will bring us through.
