The purpose of the Deacons Family Ministry is to serve the Lord and His Church by assisting the Pastor in meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the Church.

Every family member of Berkeley Mt. Zion will be assigned to a “Family Tribe” (patterned after the 12 Tribes Of Israel). The Deacon Family Ministry assigns each member of the congregation to one of twelve designated tribes. Each “Family Tribe” is lead by a Deacon(s) and Deaconess who are responsible for caring for the families in their respective areas.
