  • Berkeley Mt. Zion seeks to fill the Administrative Assistant position.

  • The Berkeley Mt. Zion Baptist Church is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and efficient person, to be a part of our Administrative Team.

  • Summary: The Administrative Assistant will manage the day-to-day affairs of the church, supporting various ministries.
  • General Job Description:

    • Proficient in basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.);
    • Meeting Preparation;
    • Ability to support multiple team members in a proficient and efficient manner;
    • Preparation and publication of church publications;
    • Facilitate appointments
    • Schedule ministry meetings; and
    • Facilitating and assisting staff to ensure a proper flow

    • Possess at least 3 years of Administrative Assistant Experience
    • Ability to learn other computer programs;
    • Will possess excellent communication skills;
    • Will be a self-starter and well organized;
    • Possess a caring attitude, excellent people skills, and integrity;
    • Be accessible, responsive, and flexible to handle the changing needs of the church;
    • Possess effective verbal, writing, editorial and publishing skills; and
    • Ability to learn other programs.
  • Hours: This is a part-time position requiring 20 - 25 hours per week
